About this piece
back to topThis pair of antique carved oak church panels would’ve once formed part of a rood screen, separating the nave from the chancel. Dating from the late 19th century, each tall panel is richly carved by hand to one side in a typical ecclesiastical manner. In the 21st century, the pair make a beautiful wall feature in a period property, the rich oak colour looking striking on a neutral backdrop or as decorative panels in a converted chapel or barn.
