back to topA very large and impressive Victorian period oak fire surround with an original surface finish and handsome warm wood patina. This antique fireplace is beautifully ornate, the jambs of which are most spectacular, carved with panels between a pair of symmetrical column-like forms reminiscent of ionic Greek columns. The fireplace opening is equally as ornate, detailed with egg and dart that highlights the dog leg moulding.
