A large reclaimed Rococo style cast iron and brass fire basket. The grate with bombe shaped bars is supported by brass embellished legs. English, late 19th century. Marked ‘Bouhon Paris’

 

Condition Report

Good structural condition. There is a horizontal heat crack through the base of the fire back, all parts present and with no movement. Presented in a used, time-worn, lightly tarnished finish.
