back to topA contemporary stained glass window with an abstract design in a wooden frame by an unknown 20th century artist dating to 1994. This mid-century stained glass window uses a range of translucent glass in deep shades of red, blue and vibrant yellow to create a unique design.
One of two similar we are selling thought to be inspired by the poetry of early 20th century American poet, Wallace Stevens. Attached to the frame is a metal plate reading “Implacable buttresses of sunlight forming in the great air”, referencing a poem by Stevens.
