About this piece

A 19th century Victorian wrought iron pedestrian gate.

Dating back to circa 1800, this timeless design is commonly found in period homes and gardens around Britain. With the additional framing to the cast iron hurdles, the gate is transformed from the traditional into a unique take on a classic design.

Presented with a structurally sound light surface rust finish, this gate will only require painting as a stylistic choice and will remain stable for many more years to come. This is one of three wider and four narrow gates we have available in this style. The wider can be viewed under stock numbers 37608, 37609 and the narrow versions under stock numbers 37610, 37611, 37612 & 37613.
