About this piece

A 19th century stained glass panel with religious themes.

This ecclesiastical piece shows the top part of a wider piece. A river seemingly flows through the centre of the frame through a lush green valley to a waterfall. This may have led to a baptism scene which would fit the story of the other birth, crucifixion and ascension themes from this series of windows.

The scene is held inside a pointed oval shape that overlaps a foliate and red border. A vivid full colour spectrum of glass makes up this partially painted panel.

Further parts of this series are available which were placed above and below.
