A 19th century lime wood carving in an ebonised frame. This impressive Victorian carving was hand made circa 1870. The high relief carving of a fruiting branch is pierced and appears to be carved from a single block resembling apples or damsons. Presented in a glazed, ebonised frame which accentuates the depth of the carving.
