Long horn cattle graze in the foreground of the prairie by a pool of water. Large ruined columns and structures trail off into the horizon, splitting the skyline between trails of deeply layered clouds.
The artist is unidentified.
Presented in a gilt frame and heavyweight gold mount which accentuates the lighting, adding a golden hour quality to the painting.
