19th Century Georgian Strap Work Gate

A 19th century Georgian strap work gate. Originally a field gate, this traditional English piece dates back to circa 1800.

Due to its pleasing proportions and straight lines, the gate could lend itself to a more modern property. A green patinated finish over a deep rust colour could blend into a hedgerow or stand out as a feature.

This gate has a wide opening, making it suitable for access to a sectional garden or property.
