Crafted in England circa 1800, this stunning example of an oversized door knocker is of substantial size and weight.

The highly detailed lion holds a ribbon between its teeth, which makes up the moving part. The heavy hoop hits the striking plate with a satisfying crack.

The handle has a time-worn patina, with raised areas showing the bronze. This decoration would suit any manner of property, so long as the door can handle it!
