About this piece
back to topA 19th Century Arts & Crafts Stained Glass Free Standing Panel With Birds And Floral Themes.
This charming free standing stained glass screen dates back to the start of the Arts & Crafts period. Meticulously hand crafted with birds and floral themes throughout.
The background of the panels are a grid of twenty-four finely painted floral tiles, housed within a grid painted to look like a layered wooden trellis.
Flowering vines intertwine between every trellis, ascending out of the frame. Tudor roses are scattered throughout the piece, with vivid tropical birds and exotic butterflies to be discovered.
The two fold screen is presented in an oak frame. As a handed pair this would make a stunning feature window or in its current form as a room divider or privacy screen.
