A Georgian era 18th century hourglass cast iron hob grate by ‘Coalbrookdale’, renowned British ironwork and furniture makers (1709 – 1927). Dating to the late 18th century, this antique hob grate has stood the test of time, still in good condition after more than 230 years. It is designed around the classic hourglass shape, with symmetry present throughout with an arched grate and opposing arched base, decoratively panelled sides and matching floral details to the centre – a beauty for any Georgian or Regency era home!
