Originating from Italy circa 1680, this antique fire surround is over 345 years old and has stood the test of time over many centuries. It is made from a stunning ‘Salvatore Rosa’ shade of Breccia Pernice marble, showcasing unique marble veining and a multitude of tones throughout, this variety known for its natural variation of rich, deep red to lighter pale pink shades.
With it’s simple angular lines and sweeping concave corners, this antique red marble fireplace will make a beautiful chimneypiece in interiors both modern and traditional, the red marble looking particularly striking against a crisp white backdrop.
