About this piece
back to topAn antique 16th century English linenfold panel internal door constructed from 3 sections of 16thcentury oak panelling.
Steeped in character, this oak door features 12 panels carved with linenfold patterning finished in old flaky paint. The reverse side reveals its rustic construction, showcasing simple panels and vertical and horizontal planks.
Fitted with thumb latch, this reclaimed door could be re-finished and styled within a country cottage or period home. It’s crude construction and unusual design would complement the uneven proportions and angles of an old house that’s steeped in history.
