About this piece
back to topThis extensive run of dado height wall panelling was reclaimed from a large country house near the quaint Oxfordshire hamlet of Sonning Eye. This set is comprised of 9 individual panels of varying widths (see below for details of dimensions) alongside 7 lengths of skirting, 4 lengths of rail and a small selection of spares. Together, the panels, skirting and rail create a 15.7m long run of 1.23m tall panelling that makes a striking feature in homes traditional and modern.
Made in pine and tulipwood, these antique wall panels date from the Edwardian era, detailed with raised moulding and stiles evocative of the period. In today’s interiors, these reclaimed wall panels are ideal for creating a sophisticated traditional look. As is to be expected at 120 years of age, these wall panels show signs of wear and tear but are in good structural condition. Each have several layers of paint which is chipped and flaking in places.
A video showcasing all 9 panels, skirting, rail lengths and spare parts is available – please enquire for details.
