Did you see our V&A display cabinets in one of Netflix’s latest releases this week? Last year, our antique glazed mahogany museum cabinets – previously from the V&A Museum, London! – were hired for filming of ‘All the Light We Cannot See’ which was released on Netflix earlier this week.
All The Light We Cannot See
A Netflix Series Set in WWII France
Based on the novel by American author Anthony Doerr, All the Light We Cannot See is set during World War II and follows the story of two characters: Marie-Laure, a blind French teenager, and Werner, a German Soldier. Set in occupied France, the paths of Marie-Laure (played by Aria Mia Loberti) and Werner (played by Louis Hofmann) collide as they try to survive the devastation of World War II.
Directed by Canadian film director Shawn Levy (best know for the Night at the Museum franchise and Netflix’s Stranger Things), the series features a number of famous actors including Hugh Laurie and Mark Ruffalo.
