About this piece
back to topAlthough originating from the 1870s, the design of this Victorian marble effect drop-in bathroom sink is truly timeless. Made in porcelain, the top of the basin is hand painted with veining and applied with a clear glaze over the top to simulate the look and feel of marble. It is a smaller than average size making it best suited to a cloakroom or ensuite and is designed to be used with wall mounted taps. For this reason, it can be styled in both modern and traditional ways to suit your desired interior style. The metal waste is stamped ‘Lambert & Sons, London’, founders and hydraulic engineers of Lambeth during the late 19th century.
