A small antique German stained glass roundel depicting St. Hubert and the Stag.

St. Hubert is the patron saint of hunters who is known for experiencing an epiphany while out hunting after an encounter with a stag.

Dating to circa 1850, this Victorian depiction showcases a nobleman with hunting dogs found with a religious stag and a crucified Jesus Christ in the background.

An array of hand crafted methods, such as painting, acid etching, firing and leading, have gone into this process.

A hoop sits to the top of the panel ready for hanging pride of place in a window for the natural light to bring it to life; the perfect decorative panel to add an element of colour and character to any period property.
