About this piece

Dating from the late 19th century, this set of 2 small antique lead trough planters make a beautiful feature of any garden, period or modern. These petite planters are a matching pair, each standing on short bun feet, the body detailed with neoclassical swag decoration to both sides and lion head handles with brass rings in their mouths.

They are lightly weathered, instilling each trough with an aged, timeworn finish that can only be achieved by exposure through the elements over the years.

Plant them up with flowers and greenery and place either side of a doorway to create a beautiful entrance to a cottage or townhouse!
