About this piece

A set of reclaimed Victorian style metal garden gates dating back to the mid 20th century.

Crafted in England, these tall gates have a very wide opening, making them perfect for an active garden. The upper and lower rows of scrollwork resemble butterflies, whereas the metalwork in the centre of the frame is more narrow than the border, so the view is not obscured when closed.

We can picture these lost amongst greenery in the bottom of a traditional English garden.
