back to topThese late 19th century reclaimed Italian floor tiles in Carrara marble were salvaged from Wingfield castle in England.
Dating from circa 1880, these reclaimed tiles are of a Italianate style, made in smooth Carrara marble, and detailed with subtle veining. A rare find in tiles.

Each tile 30.5cm x 30.5cm square. Average thickness of 2.5cm, but these may vary.
Each tile is hand-cut and as such there is variation in size.
There are 94 full tiles, 10 with damage suitable for cuts, 20 triangle halves. The overall area coverage includes all good tiles and triangles but not the damaged tiles.
