back to topA pair of striking Victorian era bronze winged lions mounted on contrasting sienna marble bases, circa 1870.
Three-quarter cast, these bronze winged lion sculptures each have a dramatic silhouette with open backs, making eye-catching display pieces on columns in a hallway or placed either side of a mantelpiece.
Freestanding, each has a mythological design resembling a griffin but with the head and body of a lion and wings of a great eagle, embellished with engraved details throughout.
