This unusual and striking water feature is inscribed ‘sed aqua quam dabo ei fiet in eo fons aquae salients in vitam aeturnum’. The translation reads ‘but the water that I shall give him shall become in him a fountain of water into eternal life’ – from the book of John 4:13-14.
You can just imagine this impressive water fountain as a centrepiece in a tranquil garden, flowing with water ready for people to enjoy while reading their own book in the relaxing space.
Its large scale angel is nicely modelled, sitting cross legged reading a book, while her face shows a calming expression in solid bronze finish with a weathered finish, and the text lies underneath.
