About this piece
back to topA Tudor style antique English stained glass roundel depicting the Morley family crest, dating to circa 1820. This stunning roundel is exquisitely detailed, the central blue shield bearing a rampant lion encircled by green foliage, blue flowers, Tudor roses and twists between a green man mask and a scroll below inscribed ‘Morley’.
The Morley family name derives from England and dates back to as early as the early 14th century.
Thanks to its level of detail and vibrant colours, this antique stained glass roundel is a beautiful artwork piece and an impressive example of early 19th century work.
