About this piece
back to topAn antique Neoclassical style painted pine and composition fireplace, sourced from a £13 million house in Hampstead, London.
This 19th century fireplace would make a stunning new feature for a period property, particularly of Neoclassical or Regency style. Dating from circa 1890, it is evocative of classic fireplaces of the earlier Gerogian period with its even proportions of a square nature.
The Neoclassical style frieze panel and corner blocks are highlighted by gold leaf decoration, adding grandeur and prestige to this impressive fire surround.
This fireplace is one of three we have available, sourced from the same property.
