Condition Report

Good structural condition. Previously fitted in corner position – right side is glazed; left side is unglazed. Chip to bottom left corner. Sink bowl has been well-used, with small chips and blemishes. Legs have chips, small losses to the glaze and historic repairs. One of the front corners on the legs has been rounded off to fit a previous position; majority of this wear is not visible if the better condition side is facing outwards. Transports as 3 pieces.

A very large antique glazed stoneware Belfast sink on associated glazed legs, circa 1890 – a character addition to a country boot room, utility space or farmhouse kitchen!

This sink is comprised of a large white glazed laundry style Belfast basin – gloriously deep to accommodate a wide range of jobs – on two cane-colour glazed stoneware legs. Glazed to one side only, it is ideally suited to placement in the corner of a room or beside a cupboard or countertop.
