About this piece

A brilliantly vibrant antique English stained glass fanlight, reclaimed from part of a large window in a hotel in Newquay, UK.

Though it dates from the late 19th century, this Victorian fanlight will make a stunning feature above a porch or dividing door in properties traditional and modern alike, suiting any home seeking glass in vivid multicolours.

To the centre is a feature roundel, hand painted with white lilies between symmetrical scrolling foliage and blue flowers. This sits within a golden demilune border with a stylised egg and dart pattern among blue, green, pink and purple roundels, cut and polished to give a faceted diamond-like appearance.

We are also selling various stained glass windows in a similar design sourced from the same location.
