A 20th century spelter bust of the Roman Goddess Minerva. Dating from the early 1900s, this Minerva bust is over 120 years old. It is in good condition with no damage, just some wear to the black painted finish in places. The bust statue depicts Minerva, Goddess of War, as she is described in Roman mythology wearing a helmet, detailed armour and a draped tunic called a chiton. She sits proudly on a round socle plinth, making a beautiful decorative object for a column or sideboard. Alternatively, this Minerva bust makes a stunning collector’s piece.
