An impressive 18th century English George III pine fireplace exceptionally carved with mask to centre and foliate swags to the surrounding frieze. This antique fireplace is of a large scale, making a spectacular and eye-catching focal point of a large room. Ornately carved, it features dentals, a striking dog leg opening with egg and dart decoration to match the shelf. Unusually, the outside of the jambs feature large carved scroll and leaf brackets that add to the grandeur of this magnificent chimneypiece.
