About this piece
back to topA wonderfully vibrant pair of antique floral stained glass windows, reclaimed from a hotel in Newquay, UK.
Though dating from the late 19th century, these Victorian era leaded glass panels make stunning feature windows in properties traditional and modern alike, suiting any home seeking glass in vivid multicolours. An almost matching set, the pair varying only slightly in their arrangement of coloured roundels to the borders, each window is fitted into an original wooden frame.
To the centre of each is a feature roundel, hand painted with white lilies between symmetrical scrolling foliage and blue flowers. This sits within a gold rectangular border with a stylised egg and dart pattern among blue, pink and green roundels, cut and polished to give a faceted diamond-like appearance.
We are also selling various stained glass windows in a similar design sourced from the same location.
