About this piece
back to topA pair of large neoclassical Italian wall hanging plaster plaques, 20th century in the earlier Georgian style.
Highly decorative, these reclaimed plaster plaques each display a neoclassical figure – one holding swathes of drapery, the other with a tambourine raised above her head – before a simulated marble backdrop within a gilt frame with below a griffin.
Each fitted with loop to the top for hanging, these neoclassical plaques will make fine décor styled together as pictured or hung individually either side of a fireplace or console.
